There are times in life when Yahweh reminds us of how fleeting life is. We are but a vapor. With a heavy heart, we said goodbye one last time to our mother and grandma, Donna Rahm, this past month. We have been so blessed to have had the time to spend with her on her last days of life on earth.

It was a trial-some few weeks for our family. We are deeply grieving and have been faced with many spiritual battles.
Through it all, Yahweh is good. He gives us what we need, just when we need it. He had taken us in our broken state and brought us to a simple, rustic cabin in the Northern wilderness of Wisconsin. Down a long dirt road, with a dozen deer to greet us, we entered into the peaceful wilderness.

The log cabin we stayed in was off grid with a gas powered kitchen and a shower-house down the hill. Over the vast forest were beautiful hiking trails with prayer benches scattered throughout and two lakes to see Yahweh’s awesomeness.
I can’t explain the emotions of that first rainy night, as we gathered together in the quiet of the woods to enjoy hot chocolate and warm mac n’ cheese, with tears rolling down our cheeks.
In all our sorrows and trials, Yahweh has a plan. Little by little, He leads the way. In this little haven of rest, we have had an abundance of time to seek Yahweh in prayer and enjoy family time.

We had a special Feast of Trumpets and a peaceful Yahweh-inspired Day of Atonement.
We also spent a couple afternoons volunteering at the place we stayed. We filled a couple dozen firewood bins and sanded the walls of a new prayer cabin.

This time was an unexpected blessing and gift from Yahweh that was very much needed. Though we were sad to leave, Yahweh was calling us onward.

All of your prayers and support mean so much to us! May you all be blessed abundantly!
